Felt the urge to post a short update just to keep the interest alive...
I give you the alternative to the Hammond-box:
After some drilling and tapping it shoud cover up the I/O-board...
I've got it installed, sort of but I really need to redo the heatshrink in the box-end so to speak. It was a very tight fit with this box, had to shave of some pcb off the I/O-board to get it in there.
I'll try to get som shots of that and my progress with the midplate soon.
