No, if you set LLC to Level 2, it will give more vcore on load.
I think my 12gb issue is fixed. Thanks a lot ot Lsdmeasap over at tweak town for the help. This is the thread. After re-seating the CPU everything seems fine. I'm only an hour in to the full 12gb, but everything seems good. For 24/7 clocks so far on Air with 12gb is 24x180 4320mhz, 1800 8-8-8-21-1. I'll post ss later with template and benchmarks. then i'll try higher bclk and compare....

Is 12gb 215 bclk doable on this board for stable 24/7 usage? I was able to do that on my previous P6T WS Pro with Rev. B3 chipset. Unfortunately, the turbo throttling was never addressed with any unofficial bios.
Yes
Does anyone know about the fittings size of the WC block?
3/8 maybe?

Has anyone measured the volts with a DMM? All four X58s Ive used, CPU-Z is way off on the actual voltage.

I always wanted to buy the classified board (E760) since its release. Now that i slod my DFI UT to a friend i saw this UD7. So i need your help. Althought i cantfind it anywhere in Greece atm, shall i pull the trigger for the classified, or shall i wait a 1-2 weeks to see if i can get the UD7? Anyone with both boards maybe that can give an advice?

I assume it is fairly close to what you set, as seen in UD5 testing shown here by Hardware Cancuks >>

I'm a little pedantic when it comes to wording things...
I think the thread title would look prettier if you renamed it to something like this:

Of course you could also just leave it?
Have fun everyone, I'm only going to chime-in once a week or so, but I hope all goes well!
so far still in the works waiting on my 6 core and bios!!!!!
Just put NB on water today sooooo we shall crank up the core!!!!
and I been at 105 PCIE
T&B
The board has been starting to get up there but it really needs good bio's as I have to change out the bios going from my W3570 to the i7 920 other than that no hickups!! I have been posting at this link with all my runs
http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.p...07#post6322807
I will keep pressing and await a 6 core coming in to pop on the board but for now need good bios thats the trick for sure!!!
I recomend this board for the heavy clocker as it will mature and be ROCK SOLID......
Will kepp adding to this post as i move along.

yes it's 3/8" - found it at gigabyte forum
U7 in the house. Starting with some low-volt action, on air.
First attempt, just 20 min OOCT to check it out, and looks promising

Still trying to get a hang of this MB (and the new BIOS), some short runs to adjust ... .
Adjusted QPI/VVT=1.28v (from 1.32v on previews one) and IOH Core=1.20v (from 1.18v), and passed 10 rum LinX
The Vcore was flipping between 1.2v and 1.216v. Still adjusting and testing ...

And some MEM-testing shows good promises about IMC holding for BCLK222 in 24/7 use
I didn't try to push the MEM, maybe can get it down to CL7 later.
For now I'm really happy with the result.

7-8-7 should work with those sticks. Tried to push further > 222 ?
Yeah i guess CL7 would be possible, and I will try to see how it works later. But at these speeds, I'll be happy with CL8, too.
I didn't have much time to mess round yet, but have been getting some artifacts on my display at BCLK226 and above.
I didn't spend any time on looking for the reason or fix it. It may have something to do with my GTX 295 and may need some tweaks.
BCLK222 is going very smooth, and seams to be running damn stable with very low-volts on almost everything. I like specially the VVT=1.28v
I like this really and trying to stabilize and save this profile, before i start working on a new profile.

And finally a little Prime time .
Added "one notch" extra to PCie and SB voltages, I hope GB-experts approve, but had a good deal extra voltages on NB all the time.
I manged to lower the Vcore with "one notch" from last run (the Linx run was hitting 1.216v sometimes), but it stayed on 1.2v on this Prime-run The CPU is actually using only 111w(on full load) with this vcore. (according to CPUID HW monitor)
Prime is still running in background and with this kind of cool/smooth/stable run i wouldn't actually mind to let it run all day long

Lol Sam_oslo, you have the same batch as my W3520. This is what has been limiting the potential of my CPU.
Looks like I'll be getting this (or whatever Gigabyte releases thereafter).
LOL, yeah, this new MB is bringing out the "beast" from this CPU. I tried this before, because I knew my CPU would run with less Vcore with x19 multi, but couldn't get it stable at these high BCLKs.
But my good old MB was over one year old, tho.
