US shops that ship overseas (Madrid, Spain)?

    Hello fellas.

I need to buy several WD2001FASS HDDs and they are all sold out in Europe (I have checked Spain and Germany only). I see there are several shops that have them in stock but they don't ship overseas.

Do you know some that do ship overseas? Newegg doesn't and I really don't know many more that reliable. And another question regarding customs, do I have to pay anything once the order get through the customs (it would be a +$1K order)?

    Thanks.

Why do you want to spend that much when you can just get 2 1tb drives for less than 1/2 the price?

but anyway overclockers sends internationally I think and they have them for pre-order

I am thinking of building a BluRay movie HTPC and I have the case limit to 4 drives.
So i'd like to get 8TB storage better than 4TB, especially when each movie is well over ~10GB :S.

Thanks for OC, but I have sent them a mail two days ago, and they answered me that their distributor hasn't given a fixed date for availability, so it could be next week or next month.

For htpc purposes might I recommend this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...14&subcat=1279

    or this:
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...14&subcat=1279

Both are substantially cheaper...there's no need to buy a Caviar Black for HTPC use.

Yeah I know I'd better go for silence and heat rather than for performance for an HTPC.

But the problem is that I will store PSX & DC iso backups compressed in 7z (from redump.org project) and I'd need the drive to be able to uncompress them in a reasonable amount of time through the frontend. With the Caviar Black I own I have checked the biggest backup never takes more than 20' (700MB iso), but I don't know how much it would take with a Caviar Green.

It's not that small, a Megahalems fit in it.

    435 mm (W) x 225mm (H) x 440 mm (D)

120mm fans and it contains exactly the same inner volume (43.000 cm3) as an Antec Three Hundred.
