Using the Antec Quattro 1200w non-OC.

It comes 6 rails on teh sticker, but Shamino and jonnyguru mentioned that the PSU has only one rail that is split to 6 through current monitoring. NO idea what it meant (a mistake on my part =(...). An (Australian?) tester did run a couple GTX 295s and some 5870s with the OC version alone just fine, and then someone also mentioned that that there was no difference between the OC and non OC version besides the extra 2 built in PC cables and the 12v voltage changer. SO I figured hey, it should work!

I had it plugged in this way:

GTX 1.1 6 pin 12v5
GTX 1.2 8 pin 12v5
GTX 1.3 8 pin split with above 12v5
GTX 2.1 6 pin 12v3
GTX 2.2 8 pin 12v3
GTX 2.3 8 pin split with above 12v3
GTX 3.1 6 pin 12v4
GTX 3.2 8 pin 12v4
GTX 3.3 8 pin split with above 12v4
GTX 4.1 6 pin 12v6
GTX 4.2 8 pin 12v6
GTX 4.3 8 pin split with above 12v6

According to the manual each PCIe line has it's own 38A 'rail.' 38amps can run a single GTX 285... can't it?

Why did my power supply explode!

How do I make sure my components work? Do I test each card individually in furmark/vantage?

I am not upset or anything, I find it funny actually, first time I've ever seen magic smoke xD!!! I just want to know what I messed up on, it's 100% my fault and I think it was awesome and so sad. I fell out my chair, sounded like firecrackers.
