    Bloodrage SAS and boot drive

I've ran into an interesting problem.
If I have my boot drive in the normal sata (black) port, everything works fine,
but once I add a drive to the SAS port, I get the message (no boot drive recognized.)

As a side note, I was trying to copy over some files from an old drive that already had win7 installed on it.

During the boot sequence, SAS controller recognized the drive, but then I get the message "no boot drive detected."
    Anyone experience this problem?

Aehm.. no. Whats your current BIOS version?

Btw. which drive you put into SAS? SATA one? It should work, but its not guaranteed I guess.. My SAS works fine.

    Nope,

    I have a newHdd. with w7 that's freshly installed.

I have another Hdd. that also has w7 installed as well has photos and video. I was trying to copy the photos and video over from the old hdd to the new hdd.

When I have both hdd plugged in (one in the normal sata port, and one in the sas) port, I get the "no OS message."

When I plug them both into the sata ports, they work fine.

When I plug them one at a time into the sata port, they work fine.

Did not try the sas port alone.

When you plug-in your second HDD, check Boot priority settings in BIOS and make sure you boot from that HDD which has Win7 instaled (not that one plugged into SAS). Mine mobo did this few times too, giving priority for booting to SAS, instead of keeping SATA as boot.

Both drive had win 7, so either one should of been able to boot up.

I finally gave up and just plugged both drive to the regular sata port.

Do you guys get the "safely remove hardware icon" in your task bar? Its always on in my task bar and the only "hardware" listed is my boot drive.
