Thanks for the info guys. Apologies for asking here. I have a 4870x2 in the same loop hence the temps. Still ok from what I've seen others get anyway.
Thanks again,
RoEy
Got rid of my 860 rig...Just could not get 4.5 on it....plus the EVGA P55 SLI board was very flakey.....replaced it with 920 D0 rig....Here is my first run at 4.5...I am going to try to see if I can get a lower core voltage though...
...next up... 4.5 LinX on my 980X rig

For daily use I go with @4.0 with HT on and all energy savings on, but going higher is just too much stress to handle for a single double rad in push.
Thanks for the submissions, guys! Great job!

Water. Apogee GTZ with MCR220 + MCR120 is all, I'll be using more radiator when I finish my build.
Working on higher bclk lower multi for 4.6Ghz, BIOS has some issues though. Can't set 24/25/26 multi, if I do it makes Turbo all messed up even with Turbo disabled Also can't change uncore at all, it takes in the BIOS settings but doesn't change in Windows. Hopefully a non-BETA BIOS will be out that fixes some stuff with these newer chips.
Edit: I see F12 is up on Gigabyte's site now, I'll give that a shot in the morning when I get off work

Newhit whats your batch mate? Almost exactly the same clocks as me at samne volts - my bclk tops out at 203 for long term high load stability though.
This is where my knowledge parts company with the necessary adjustments needed. I have two sets of memory...............
G.Skill F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD (DDR3 -2000 CL9-9-9-24 1.65v)
Corsair TR3X6G1600C7 (DDR3-1600-CL7-7-7-20 1.65v)
The G.Skill is on the recommended list but the Corsair isn't. I have loaded up "Cpu tweaker" and "cpu-z" and put in the values listed but get lockups unless I relax the settings to 99924 (x8.0) with "Auto" set in Vtt/IOH/CPU PLL, on either set of sticks. The best I did was with bios F3h and the Corsair set to 88824 for my original 4.6GHz run.
I have tried various combinations of Vtt/IOH/CPU PLL and obviously Vcore but nothing gets me through. I think that it's this area that's holding me back. If it's acceptable I will go to the "UD7" thread and post this up for advice.
Sig always changing .
newhit - use diagnostic mode see if that helps.
Start menu > type msconfig. Choose diagnostic mode and restart.
Set memory size to 5120 and make sure your page file is enabled.
It is usually a sign that the vcore it just a hair too low.
No, I doubt that.
Things I can think of: 1) just 4GB of memory used, it would be higher if you used 5GB, 2) Gulftown has lower L3 frequency, 3) Classified motherboards got some kind of Turbo Performance option for Gulftown, perhaps Gigabyte is yet to come up with that, 4) Linpack library could use an update for Gulftown.
Sig always changing .
DDC, HK 3.0, PA120.3 + another 360, 21 ambient/air intake temp.
Working on a higher 20 run, but seems linx doesnt like more than 226 bclk for now.
newhit: Still think your gflops is a bit low. Usually on my setup I get low gflops if vcore is a tad low, or some other process takes up to much cpu time.

Really nice run Sniper. Temps are great too for 21*C ambient.
Thanks. Yes temps are good up too this point, going higher on vcore/mhz soon gives temps in the low 80's.
