Awesome, Memoryc have them in stock and I have 1044 bonus points there to spend on a free USB neon light too :p.

I had 960 points for a while from my patriot ram, and recently bought a memory card, so I may as well grab the fan.

I noticed though it says it is 3500 rpm, isnt that kind of loud, and is it a variable speed at all?

it's a 3pins connectors, quite noisy i think, but as airflow from corsair, use it on 5v and it's perfect

Lol ! You're doing Pi 32, i'm playing LinX, but almost the same timings, just a tighter tRFC. Is it because we discuss about these timings yesterday evening ?

    2136 7-9-7-24 72 1T 1.65v LinX

    Let's try some CL6 :p

After passed + 2 hours in bios i could boot @ 2400 8-9-8-24 but still unstable passed a quick everest
low tRCD is not easy with this kit, @ 99.99% i have problem with one stick.it's look like Semi-Dead.
i will try to figure out and show you guys the tighter and stable tRCD

i can set tight tRP without any problem same as CL
but tRCD should be +2 as CL

Just Asus support this kit with last bioses 0911 and 0915
it's normal we still can't overclock them @ max, i asked sham for the new bios for 657 and 658
i'll share them when i get it
Gigabyte already have a new UD6 beta bios make today in 1 hour

    UD6 users : F6B

will check tonight with new UD6 bios

Let's try some 32M, which is lighter than LinX of course.

    2196 7-9-7-24 100 () 1T 1.69v 32M

BTW, my eVGA P55 SLI E655 is really ok with this kit hiwa...But my 3 sticks are still alive I'll try other brands soon but i don't have anything from asus right now.
But i agree about everything you said, tRCD is the main timing on this kit.

I agree with you. Same for me. My optimal, best timings is 7-9-7-22 88 1T. If I set 72 Trfc I get wall about 2130Mhz, if I set 100 or 110 I can't go higher Mhz than with 88.

Same here again But 22 is a bit too hard for my kit, that's why i'm using 24.

Hmmm, Im not sure if the cooler will fit with my Asus Triton 88:

Obviously i would remove the back fan, but I think the heatsink will still be in the way?

I could just get a second spotcool fan instead, but i wanted to spend my points at Memoryc and they only sell Ram coolers

Full pictures with my old ram are in my bottom sig link, I just took this one to show the new ram, and I want the G skill cooler to replace the back Triton fan, but I'm unsure if it will fit.

My ram only runs at 1800 Mhz and is fine without extra cooling, but I just like the look of the G skill fan a lot.

Dont make me think about its cost lol...... ....... ....... .......

the raw freq seems impressive, but can any of you, guys, check the performance with 2200+ 7-10-10 against moderate 2000 7-8-7 ?

for 2d performance trcd is definately the most important primary timing, so 2000 7-8-7 would be 2200 7-10-10...

i think these kits should fo 2000 7-8 or 7-7- fairly easily..
