After that I am pretty uncore/CPUNB limited, especially in normal ambient temp...that was done in -4c ambient...

I'll need DICE/LN2 to push further

I really wanted a kit of Flare with the tighter +2 TRCD for Phenom II but I'll take ram that does ~2400-2500 C7 @ +4 benchable any day ...Hypers cant match that at all, I'm lucky to hit 2350 8-8-8 benchable with those. (Which is possible.)

For 24/7 clocks its a toss up between Elpida Hyper and PSC for 4GB kits, Hyper doing 2100 CL7 comfortably and PSC doing 2200 at TRCD +3.

I'm pretty sure I could do 2700-2800 CL8 with CPU under LN2...unfortunately ~2550 is limit on anything but SS/DICE/LN2

These kits need really low VCCSA and VTT.


had no luck for prime with CL 9-12-9 2400, any ideas?

Sound more like IMC issue...

I'm not familiar with adjustments you can make on SB-E to help, but the kits are easily capable of 2400 8-11-8

Quad vs Dual channel... IMCs are holding back SB-E max ram speeds indeed
