    AgeisPanel and windows 7

Has anyone been able to get it to work? I think I need it to work so my HW monitoring settings in Bios will work at the settings and not default. When I am in Bios I set the fans where I want them, Save reboot and load into windows and they are flying at the default settings.

Put the foxconn disk in your drive, instead of letting it autorun, explore it and set the setup.exe file to Windows Vista SP2 compatability mode, then double click the exe, the disk will fire up as normal, install the panel, and then restart, when your machine restarts it will say something about not being compatible, just right click the shortcut in your start menu or on the desktop and set that to Vista SP2 compatability mode too, then restart your computer again, hey presto, should be working. Let us know.

This works for all the drivers on the disk in Win7 including the Creative Drivers.

I can get it to load but mine hard locks my machine if i try and change fsb/voltage etc. I've given up and been using bios instead.

No sign of w7 support even on the newer boards aegis software.

That is the only thing I miss about Win XP. Everything just worked perfectly, and always right away. You didnt have to around to make things run. Click compatability for windoes 3.2 bla blah bla
I swear if Xp had aero desktop we all still would be using it now.

    Mescalamba,

Are you running it through compatibility mode? For those who are having issues you may want to try to enable compatibility mode to run certain applications. To get your questions answered on the most common challenges around application compatibility when coming from a legacy operating system, why changes were made along the way, compatibility technologies inside the OS and methods for getting incompatible applications to run on Windows 7, please go here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/w.../dd981014.aspx

Yes, all exes related to Aegis run on Admin rights and Vista SP1 compatibility (cause I believe Aegis was made for SP1 not SP2). Started via Aegis loader, works fine.. thats all (except usuall vCore voltage bugs related to Aegis )

My ageis panel works OK in W7. I installed that (and all the other bundled software) on my old XP machine in sharing folder then copied it to my blackops/W7 comp. Whenever I open ageis panel a fan somewhere spins up tom an annoyingly loud speed though, and remains that way until I restart comp. closing the panel doesn't slow it back down to my BIOS settings. Anyone else had this?
