    H20 | AMD Phenom II C3 | Dragon's Revenge | Ultimate Thread

It was done. Now it comes forth from the ashes seeking its revenge.

That many came to Simon's aid. Phenom II C2 on H20.

But now a new threat rises from the east. The Dragon has shown its new FANGS.

Many have tried, many have decended to the coldest depths known to the Universe and broken 7GHz! But what can we do only with the basic elements? Wind and Water against Fire and Ice?

Lend aid, if you dare. And I call on those who showed their metal before to try once more. To aid in your battle, you may find the latest AMD Overdrive 3.1 here.

Chapter 1 of 2 begins here and ends on page 11

Do thus with Dragon's new Fangs, C3 REVISION, and post here:

Summary of Chapter 1 results will be posted here presently.

Chapter 2 of 2 begins on page 11

Fixed multiplier challenge. This is cruel and unusual punishment for you and your hardware. Participation at your discretion. Cold AIR & H20. Take advantage of cold weather. Encourage aggressive DRAM frequency & CAS.

I forgot to get a bag of ice, so I just filled the bucket with cold water from the tub and stuck the little RAD in it. Will run again when I get some ice for my cooler.

    Win 7 64bit, 6GB DDR3, Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P, Apoge GT H2O kit.

    30mins into Prime95

    Idle 4mins after of Prime95

Fans Page with pump lead on CPU fan.

Rig shots. I have the 2 lines to the rad going through the wall to the garage on the other side. About 46*F in the garage right now.

    So true...so true...

Anyways, my setup should be up in a few weeks, I'll do something around that time. Not necesarily cold air, but good air nonetheless. 19-20c ambient...

Cpu voltage is 1.50v in bios, but 1.46v effective under load. I replaced my original Silent Eagle fans with two 3500rpm Delta fans for some extra cooling power.

I will be doing some air test yes, but I am moding my water setup today. It should do pretty well.

Edit: My water setup is complete. Can't wait to give it a go. All air is out of the system and the water block is very very cold.....

Hmm, I work for the airlines and I can get some pretty strong glycol.......I think good to -60 to -40 I believe

We use it for anti icing the aircraft,We coat the wings before takeoff to prevent ice and snow buildup. I think its 100% glycol its a bit thick, and can be mixed with water to get a more liquid substance.

Not sure about mixing it with Alcahol?

Not sure about mixing it with Alcahol?
I had some strange ideas..for cooling that is. I want something that won't freeze yet still can run through my water cooling setup .
