    Config check

    It's simply, i need a decent stable configuration to be put under ice LN2.

    AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition boxed 162€
    DFI LANparty DK 790FXB-M3H5 129€
    CSX 2GB Kit DDR3-2000 DIABLO 99€

    Any remarks? Suggestions?

    Make sure you get a C3 CPU if possible.

    HDZ965FBGMBOX = c3 in UK.

    HDZ965FBG 'M' BOX - M is the new revision old revision will be BGI. They are also labelled 125 watts instead of the old 140 watts.

    Ah thx for the info!
    Btw should i go for the MSi mobo instead for high end Mhz, or wil the dfi just do fine?

    I personally would opt for the gigabyte for it's extreme cold abilities.

    MSI is a tad touchy, if it gets mad it will take itself out and the cpu.

    The ud4p was a little quirky with NB clocking last time I tested it. This was a while ago. A user sent it to me for a review. Might be fixxed now.

    Although i don't like gigabyte, udp5 it will be.
    No word on the memory? Preferences?

    It does best with d9 GTR/GTS in the not breaking the bank category.

    Elipda hypers work decent but not quite as good as they do on asus.

    To be fair my gtr/gts clocks higher on giga.
