I love mine. Only problems I have are with the lack of adjustable screen sensitivity because I am using a screen protector, and my phone sometimes comes out of lock. So sometimes I get surprised by an almost dead battery. Overall everything else works great. Wifi, calling, and texting work without a hitch. I'm so surprised by the typing and browser capabilities. (It is my first real work phone though.) I also haven't tried to upload my work calendar to the phone yet.

Can't wait to hear more about this phone, looks to be a great alternative to the iPhone (AT&T is a joke in my area).

The screen technology deals with capacitance. So the screen needs contact with the skin of your finger to work best. I just get a few miss hits and the scroll is less responsive. My protector is almost 1mm thick, so I might go back to the bare screen. But there are thinner protectors out there.

Been enjoying using mine. Nice phone, quality seems real good, feels heavy and sturdy. Android OS works good. The amount of apps is good. Google maps w/ navigation works well. May need to pick up the car adapter. The desk dock should be coming in today. The verizon store had only gotten a few in on launch day. No complaints.

The camera isnt fast to reset. There is some lag til you can take the next picture. The pictures are not bad with it. This is one I just took real quick to show how the quality is. Its a phone camera. Wont win any awards. For quick pictures when a p/s or dslr arent around it does the job. For video capture it is a really good smooth camera. Crisp picture.

Its a little loud. Mute the volume before plugging it in. Also the desk dock is awesome. Makes the phone look like an alarm clock. You can change the brightness on screen with it plugged into the dock.

aw man i want one. my biggest thing is how are the current gen phones going to work with verizon's new network they're rolling out next year? seems like a bad time to buy a new phone to be honest. 4g is gonna kill 3g when it's out.

I love my Droid. Realize though, my last phone was a plain RAZR. What a difference! I'm typing this with the Droid now.

One feature I really like is the voice google search. You push a button, say what you want, like "hot dog", or "xtreme systems", and up comes the Google links. Really cool!

I'm really enjoying mine too. Although I think I have you beat bob. I upgraded from a Samsung SPH-A920
I have had a few minor glitches so far like the screen blacking out and not coming back on when I'm on a phone call, but it has only happened twice. Going from my old phone to this one is unbelievable. It's almost like I upgraded a from a typewriter to a laptop.

I've been playing a lot with mine. Loaded some apps, yes old fart stuff like "solitaire", and then Astro, Unit Converter, Stocks pro, and really like it.

The batt lasts for at least a day, perhaps more. I've been very heavy on the solitaire game, IDKW......addictive little bugger.....

    Hope this helps.
