New Version !
Both end caps are threaded Delrin, and newer IceCaps can be purchased and placed on with ease. They secure it with a smaller nylon thumb screw, but cracking is not an issue since they push on the Delrin portion. The light tube is threaded and secures into the base Delrin portion, and instead of the little cap that glued onto the top, they actually have threaded caps with a BN50 gasket to screw on them.
The base of the reservoir has two brass pins pressed into the Delrin. Each of the helix assemblies(Liquid Fusion), straight rod assemblies (RCX) and anti vortex assemblies (Reactor Core) has two small holes on the base that snaps into these pins. It allows the user to make these parts interchangeable.

Bundy, I've always wondered what camera you use to take those pictures . Could you tell us which one you use?

Good cameras make work easy. But even with some of the most basic compact cameras, some good lighting, a tripod, and some knowledge of photography, one can make beautiful pictures. Most cameras nowadays are for people who like it fast and immediate result (why would I want to shoot 30 pictures per second ? I would buy a videocamera to do that. )

Back in the day of film I was considered a decent photog, but I never could master studio styles of lighting......so yes my vote goes for lighting and that is a big part of the skills!!!!!
Looking at the stuff that has shown up here makes me want to get back into photography.

Every little mosaic stone counts The pics from me on the last side are more like snapshots and not very sharp. You can find tons of better pics in this thread from me.
Look at this posting, the last 2 pics were made with an very old Canon Powershot A200 (2 Megapixel Cam) from 2002. Even with a cellphone cam you can make good pics, when the "rest" fits

@ lolmen: It's an inline flowmeter. The frequency output can be connected to your motherboard fan-header, for example, to indicate flow, and act as a shutdown interlock, by either using one of several high-end controllers, and some motherboards support this onboard, if "fanspeed" <certain speed, it will shut down.
That's the very basics of it.
