yip simple it's already been done just take a direct die water block and use it in revers . you can mount a true to the bottom of the water block then use it to chill water

    Good Idea.
I was thinking about kinda same idea in the past, but was too lazy to do it.
Something not that powerful, that you will not have to insulate your MoBo.

I know this is an older thread but... was this system ever mounted in a case? Is there any way to practically mount and insulate a device like this for 24.7 use? Was thinking of building a custom case with a small automotive radiator on one of the sides to cool a tec-sandwich water chiller. It all seems quite viable except for the condensation inside the case.

    well you could insulate it

im meant to be starting a chiller that hopefully solves the condensation issue

or just have the TEC turn off and on, as the water approaches preset temperatures, and keep it just above the condensation level.

Hardly a point in creating a chiller that is limited to 0-5 degrees.

Depending on where you put the temp sensor you may find this rather harder than you first imagine to get a fine temp control i.e. +/- 2 or 3ºC

Really nice looking pictures. How did you make that seal between the aluminium and acrylic?
