Corsair Labs: HTPC Build Log October 2009

We did an HTPC build back in 2007 that was a lot of fun. We've revisited the subject and used some great new products including our H50 CPU cooler, X64SSD, CX400 PSU, and 2 different memory kits.

Take a look here:2009 HTPC Build Log

Not so much need better but the 775 sticks on to the back of my board like most and I am planning on going to 1156 soon so just saw how that new plate mounted and seems to be a lot better than having to take off the 775 plate. Will check out that link thanks.

Even with the new plate, you'd have to remove it to go from 775 to 1156. You have to change the location of the threaded inserts to fit the hole pattern.

Awesome just ordered the new bracket. Very nice that is it free just had to pay a 5 dollar shipping fee.

    Thanks for the link Yellowbeard

Yes but I have no 1156 bracket unless I would go with eVGA board which has 775 holes.
