    Corsair Obsidian 800D

    Hey Guys,

I have been pondering about this case for the past two weeks whether to go out and buy it or not.

Still have a Feser 480 Rad and a Swifty 220 knocking around that I would like to use in this case, now my question is has anyone seen a quad rad being installed in the roof yet? and what's the clearance like if I install a quad rad in the top.

    Cheers

If you're willing to chop into the case, you can fit a quad rad up top. Get a nice rad grill and adjust things, it should work fine. A 120.2 will fit in the bottom easily.
    The parts:
    | ASUS Crosshair IV Formula | Phenom II 965 140W | Sapphire HD 5870 | 2x2 GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3 1600 7-7-7-21 | 120GB OCZ Agility | Corsair Obsidian 800D |
    The cooling:
    | iandh 225mL Multioption Res | Swiftech MPC655 with Koolance COV-RP450 | MCR320 | 3x120mm 1450 RPM Scythe GentleTyphoon | HeatKiller REV3.0 LT | EK HD 5870 FC Nickle | ThermoChill PA120.2 | 2x120mm 1900 RPM Scythe S-Flex |

quattro > The link is not working :/ (at least to me, perhaps I don't have sufficient rights)

Baulten > That's a really good news. Do you have any link to show that ?

And it seems like you can put a 240 in the bottom by removing the case of the 2 3"1/2 (can't put my hands on the photo I found before, I'll edit when I find it)

I don't have any links (I don't know that anyone has done it, yet) but there is clearly enough room up there. You'd have to drop any 5.25" bays down to the lower two or three bays or the fans/tubing wouldn't fit right, but there is definitely enough room.

That's what I wanted to hear no fear of chopping the case up to suite my needs.

Ordering it up in a week or so in then I will post some pics when I have my quad rad mounted in the top

That's not really a problem, as one 5.25" will be sufficient to me

I think I'll get one as soon as I can, and try to put a XSPC RX480 up there

quattro > Thanks, these are working and are great
