    Two used motherboards...

    ... just found their way to me



    What, you expected to see old hardware?

    Here's some more:





    These are the Supermicro X8DAi and the evga Classified E760. Two Socket 1366 motherboards that probably don't have anything in common other than the socket and the CMOS Battery (which hasn't been changed for ~15 years IIRC) - yet each has its purpose.

    Which is what, you may ask.. you'll see... in time

    Hey jcool, I went onto some stats on Free-DC and saw you retired most of your rigs. Only 4 are working today

    What're those unused points for on the Supermicro underneath the NB at lower right? Almost looks like a LGA775 socket

    I have 4-73 gig Seagate 15.4k SAS drives in raid0 on that LSI controller..

    Oh, they are definitely not retired, all working at peak performance. Actually, right now there's only 2 of my own rigs on my Account, the rest is, eh.. busy elsewhere
