With over 200 bug fixes I think skipping a few minor versions is ok

Hopefully most of the bugs that 19x.xx drivers had, especially choppy performance in some games is fixed. Nvidia doesn't do these huge jumps in numbers unless there's lots of bugfixes or stuff changed so that's a good start.

    Downloading now.

Not much to test it with though, lately I have only been playing Fallen Earth. I will see what else I can load it up with.

Versioning is not sequential. The major version and the minor version are unrelated. They are branches of code, which only occasionally get released to the public. So internally they might build every day and have every number in the sequence, but there is no reason to expect that we would get to see them. The intermediate ones are probably not stable / work in progress for internal testing.

Ok quick review. Installed driver. Made few tests in heaven test. With previous drivers in 1024x768,4x,4x DX10 was 60-70 fps, but kinda laggy. After 195.39 have 39-50 fps on same settings, but its runs smooth, no laggs ...

Are you saying that minimal FPS improved? Because no way 50 fps feels less laggy than 70. Or maybe there's some microstutter fix, hard to tell what you are referring to. In any case, seems like a step back.

On 191.07 i noticed lags on those benches, like it miss some frame or double it what makes laggs. New drivers remove this, and make fps smooth, with any lag, but anyway gonna test in game...

Hmm. I guess I'll have to test these out in Windows 7 with my FW900 CRT. So far, everything past 182.50 sucks for using various resolutions and timing.

    Edit:

Just tested out. Video scaling is now fixed! My FW-900 now shows real resolution changes, not just the drivers scaling all the resolutions to 2304x1440.

Pulled down at Nvidia's website. Thats a good sign especilly since Nvidia has been so on the ball with their drivers recently.

Maybe these ones weren't meant to go public and somebody screwed up. They are betas after all, stability is never guaranteed.
