Was going to get one, had my finger on the buy button on the Egg, but thought I'd check it out in person at the local stores ... I hated the stand! Didn't look like it adjusted at all, flimsly etc. It was a beautiful screen, the lack of a real stand was a deal breaker for me. Didn't appear I could but an aftermarket stand on it either, so now I'm back to square one looking for a new monitor.
The 16:9 ratio wasn't my first pick either, would rather have 1920x1200, but that's just me.
IMHO, it is a very nice display, I have it's bigger brother in the 27 inch. Beautifully designed, and offers very good overall performance with Full HD resolution.
It's one of the lightest monitors that I have seen by the way, also the monitor has an external power supply rather than one that is built into the unit itself, this makes the monitor run cooler
