not "you should have A cathode hidden in the side"

I made an aluminium resivour with an acrylic window, similar to yours (cept yours isnt a resivour :P) andi hid the cathodes behind a wall, to reflect global light, and it illuminates the WHOLE inside, specially if you polish the inside of the container.

I reckon you should give it a go doesn't take much. or you could do it this way.

Thank you for the idea I pitched that the system being watercooled to Cooler Master, but it's to showcase a new a heat sink.

The lighting needs to be dimmed down a bit,for a more eerie looking feel

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I've gotta keep plugging away at this, so it's finished in time to be shipped to Vegas for the 2010 CES.

Whats this? It's a cannibalized Mitron Interlink, 3.5" bay fan controller

Mnpctech Painter, Brad Galvin starts the transformation from pristine to weathered and dilapidated. He starts by creating the illusion of a scratched-up exterior, imagine Christopher dragged his computer in the gravel. Did he have to wrestle it away from somebody at one time?

The Orange & White exterior finish has been scratched done to the bare metal. This is done by hand using enamel "One Shot" Silver paint and a paint brush.

Notice the paint is chipped around the bullet holes.

Brad has painted a variety of Prawn insignia, language and graphics by hand. The bolts are given weathered effects. Christopher left his PC out in the rain. ....Acid rain perhaps?

There was an expolsion in the right side panel at one time.

White cold cathode light, 12" tube inside the chassis, later the acrylic housing was coated with Silver paint to dim the brightness

Thanks guys! I just got the DVD today. I laughed at seeing the "Puddi" brand cat food can again. while I watched, the system got nestled into the MB and ready for install

    Man, that is freakin sweet.

I've got a good job now so I think I need to start thinking about ideas for that "Tool" themed case again

    Yeah, Lots of Matte Black

I need a single HD cage. This old Enermax HD cage can be cannibalized down to it's bare frame. I've also needed an excuse to implement an old distributor cap from my odds/ends drawer. The plug connections allow more flexible hose madness inside the PC, just to make people wonder what purpose they served Christopher..

Painted the HD cage & cap same colors as exterior

I've said this again, its a real pity they don't give you watercooling for this.

It is amazing. Only thing is you might have overdone it a bit with the black hole on the side panel, But i guess the theme is that way

Thanks for the comments guys! The weathered and rust effects are hand painted and airbrushed by Brad on the main body, bezel, top panel and backplate of the Cooler Master 840 case.
