    190.64 nVidia BETA Drivers...

    http://downloads.guru3d.com/ForceWar...load-2373.html

    I haven't tried them...

"Very little is known about this driver but it does support most GeForce graphics cards.

These drivers are to be considered beta and thus treated as such. You install them at your own risk, don't complain to us or NVIDIA if they do not work out for you."

Go for the 191.07 WHQL now...

I have them installed, and so far so good.

Batman, Risk, Left 4 Dead, Fear2, Clive Barkers Jericho, and World in Combat all check out...

PhysX Visual Indicator does not work for me...

Not sure why they would opt to run PhysX on the CPU. Bad selection in my book.

I have heard the reason the PhysX Visual Indicator works in the old drivers, but not the latest is due to some file not being located in the directory where it needs to be. I am not sure what file it is, nor do I know what directory it needs to be in.

I would like to see this function work again in the latest drivers.
If anybody has more info on this, be sure to post it up.

I myself favor the latest drivers to ensure I get the latest gaming profiles.

    I know version had 191.03...

•Adds support for OpenGL 3.2 for GeForce 8, 9, 100, and 200-series GPUs and ION GPUs.
•Accelerates performance in several gaming applications. The following are examples of improvements measured with version 191.03 drivers vs. version 190.62 drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):
◦Up to 12% performance increase in ARMA 2
◦Up to 8% performance increase in Batman: Arkham Asylum with GPU PhysX enabled
◦Up to 50% performance increase in Call of Juarez: Blood in Bound with SLI enabled
◦Up to 14% performance increase in Fallout 3 (indoor scenes) with antialiasing enabled
◦Up to 10% performance increase in Far Cry 2 (DX9 version) with antialiasing enabled
◦Up to 34% performance increase in Prototype with antialiasing enabled
•Adds SLI support for Darkfall, Dawn of Magic 2: Time of Shadows, Dreamkiller, Fuel, Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, Need for Speed: Shift and more.
•Includes numerous bug fixes, including the following key fix (additional bug fixes can be found in the release notes on the documentation tab): For graphics cards supporting multiple clock states, 3D clocks correctly return to 2D clocks after exiting a 3D application.
•Users without US English operating systems can select their language and download the International driver here.
    New in Release 190/191 Drivers

•Includes WHQL support for DirectCompute with Windows 7 and GeForce 8-series or higher graphics cards.
•Installs PhysX System Software version 9.09.0814.
•Supports NVIDIA 3D Vision Discover, a complete, low cost solution to start your immersive stereoscopic 3D experience. NOTE: If you are using NVIDIA 3D Vision active shutter glasses, you must download the separate 3D Vision driver which includes the driver for the 3D Vision IR emitter.
•Supports CUDA 2.3 for improved performance in GPU Computing applications. See CUDA Zone for more details.
•Supports a new user-controlled power management setting for select GeForce 9-series and later graphics cards (only available on cards that already support more than one power state). This option allows users to set a performance level for each DirectX or OpenGL application.

I do agree the performance will vary on different versions. I think they still are adjusting the level of PhysX effects... Not sure though.

Benchmarks are great but nothing beats real world feel. Thanks for the input Talonman I think I'll give 191.07 a try.

Also I see that andressergio is testing them on 3DMark06 which is based on DX9. If basing performance with benchmarks, wouldn't 3DMark Vantage be the test? It uses DX10 and Physx. As Talonman could also tell you, a lot of people have seem increases in scores with the new driver in Vantage. Score seem to get worse on 3DMark06 as drivers come out unless you own an ATI card. Well that is just imho.

To me, 3DMark06 is a better test of your CPU, and some GPU...

Vantage is a better test for your GPU.

I think no matter how much faster of a GPU I put in my system, my 3DMark06 score will never jump that much until i am done with my Q6600 System.

My Vantage score on the other hand, would better reflect the faster GPU installed.

I feel ya both here vanatge would be my choice to see driver/gpu performance but to me either are merely a gauge for predicting that real world experience. The FarCry2 bench is also a good indicator IMHO and closer to real world vs synthetic, and puts SLI through it's paces more so than 3DMV & 3DM06. So SLI profiles alone merit upgrading to new drivers whether the bench results from any of the tests improve. Bottom line the benchmark programs should evolve like drivers and profiles do. Their static nature doesn't do any justice for the end user.

    guys

im doing this for you to see not to impose to use any of them i did this just to show you that on JUST GPU benchmarks i keep scoring better on 190.62

this time unigine engine sanctuary 2.2 both did a clean install and tested them, same VGA clocks and CPU/MEM speed and timmings

    190.62 W7x64 7600 16399

    191.07 W7x64 7600 16399

Maybe its true as someone says that in the real game world drivers are improving for that reason i try to stick always on newer ones, im still on the 191.07 for now.

    Cheers

Please don't take me wrong Sergio. Your efforts here at XS are valued and appreciated by myself and many others.

I have not seen the UNiGiNE Sanctuary bench proggy before looks good. I'll have to google it.
The side by side is revealing. Not much of a differences there an within conventional margin of error.
Are those scores the best of three runs or more?

What's the trick with UNiGine I downloaded both Tropical and Sanctuary on my AS2E Vista x64 machine (see sig) I installed it left default settings in tack and click to run demo and nothing happens trie running as Admin same it ends up Not responding after a couple minutes and has to be manually closed. I'd say re download and install again but both tools behave the same way. Do you need a game or something to go with it? What's up?
