hey guys i have an old u2 ufo and i lost the bolt for the switch that is standard on them. does anyone know off the top of their head what size it is? thanks

anyway you can let me know the size nut it is? I emailed but little pricey IMO for a nut, i just need the size so i can call around my local auto shops and lowes/home depot. thanks

I think I may have the right size nut you're needing.

Not sure how to figure the measurements though, if you can tell me what you need on it, I might be able to get you those measurements.

How do I figured the size of it? That is the part I don't know how to do.

ok i understand now, these are the universal switches for the u2-ufos, they also have other colored switches with this size listed 22mm diameter but i do not know if that is the switch head (the actual button) or the threaded screw size. Maybe mountain mods could chime in one more time with the size?

Well with mine presently in a packed system, I'd rather not pull it to try to get measurements. But if MM fails to get you the size, let me know, you can do by posting in here and I'll pull it and get you what measurements I can from it.

no response from PMs to MM or emails on the actual size, guess they want me to fork over money instead of just giving me the info.

i was able to finally find a nut, not even sure what size it is. Happen to pass a local mom and pop auto shop, stopped in to see if maybe they carry random nuts and bolts for car swtiches etc, they had one that fits. thanks for the help though ifmu
