ACC works flawless with BIOS F4. Just set EC Firmware to Hybid and ACC to Auto.

Could just be a bad chip then. From what Ive seen Gigabyte boards are very good at unlocking, specifically the AM3 boards (so the UD3P).

Main glaring feature lacking in Gigabyte BIOS 550BE unlocking is Downcore/Tricore unlocking, it is either 2 or 4 cores only. Wonder if GA would ever put in this impt. option?

Next possible step would be to try unlocking it as a Tricore on an Asus or Biostar.

his problem seems to be that even with ACC @ Auto, the MB recognizes it as a X2.. and sometimes it did not post/boot at all..

should have been a lot easier if it was my comp.. then i colud tell exactly what is failing.

Tom128: yes that may be his problem, since he was promised a 0925CPMW from the reseller , but got a 0927GPMW.. the 0925-26CPMWs seem to unlock very nicely, but i dont know anything about the GPMWs...
