Talking misho's XClio 1000 Build log

Hey guys. first of all, i wanna thank XS for the help and support!
Couple of weeks ago i regged here to ask some questions about OCing E8400, then I got i7, etc and then looking at all these liquid cooling setups, i wanted to do it myself as well.
So i started and here are my parts:

    [Computer]
    Case - Xclio 1000
    CPU: Core i7 920 (was @ 4.1Ghz on TRUE)
    Mobo: Gigabyte EX58-UD5
Memory: 3x2GB 12800DDR Low Voltage OCZ.
GPU:: NONE. really. I sold my HD 3870 and right now i got nothin.
HDD: OCZ Vertex 60GB SSD., 250GB maxtor and more.
    PSU: Corsair TX750.

    [W/C]
    Swiftech MCP655
    Swiftech MCR320-QP
    Swiftech MCRES-Micro rev2
    Swiftech Apogee GTZ
6x Bitspower TRUE SILVER 1/2 barbs
    Primochill Primoflex 10ft clear tubing
    Distilled water
    3 x Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E 120mm fans for the Rad.

I started this about a week ago. Right now I got no desktop (just a laptop from school) and I dont have all the time in the world to make this because i got tons of work from university and other stuff, so this isn't going to be the best modding :P. This is my first W/C setup.

Here it goes pics are from oldest to newest)

Pics of the rad and fans on it:

THE CASE: (its damn HUGE )

Cutting stuff to fit the rad

    Mounting the rad:

Cutting the res mounts so I can fit it inside

    Pump time::

Just fitting the mobo so I can get an idea where the block is gonna be:

Now, what I am doing is kinda dividing the top part of the case and the bottom with the mobo and HDDs with plexiglass which i'm gonna paint black tomorow

AAND my first tube Thats enough for tonight.

So what do you guys think?

Great progress - that looks like a really interesting case to water cool. Nice to see something different.

Yea, i absolutely love it, its pretty sturdy, VERY large, can fit another 3x120mm rad on top, and still tons of space for another loop.

    and cheap as well.

that's the final product, and maybe in a year when i need to do maintenance, i might powder coat the inside

It's a good looking water mod. I might suggest some u-channel around the cut out for that radiator. 1, to add some appeal to it, and two to save those fingers. Although, I have to ask why you didn't utilize the top exhausts for some cooling. Might have saved you some cutting.

Your micro res is cracked, mine was that way before it started to leak slowly.
