Congratulations! I get that somewhat nostalgia feeling whenever I see an overclocking thread with 3dMark2001.

You do have to beat a couple of other scores before claiming a WR, though.

LOL ---> MAN! this is NOT a 3DMark01 record!! Its just highest stable clock!!!! and its clear for all that this mobo dosent have Side-port memory then breaking 3DMark records would be impossible!! was easy!!

Yes, interesting indeed. But not because of its high clocks. I just tested the Gigabyte 785G and it's nice to see initial findings to be confirmed.

Get your hands on one, it's really interesting

Hmm I was kinda thinking the asus would be "the board" although the 4 pin cpu power is kinda odd with there "8" phase PWM.

I will pick one up asap

thanks Pejman! well, I reached to 1100MHz but it wasnt stable, I bet with +376mv on NB (vs. 351mv now) it would be stable! anyway VMOD is needed and there is no time to left!!

    nice, stock heatsink?
    congrats!

welder managed to push the foxconn 785 matx cinema board to 1000 with almost stock volts on air, so im surprised the highest oc is only 1150?
sounds like a bios limitation somehow?

Hello Saaya! thanks!! Yup there is no after market cooler, just this :

for 1000MHz I have to set "def +180mv" for NB, with lower it wouldnt be "rock stable" and it may crash after 1 or 2 hours! (Vista x64 + Aero)

I think ECS didnt set any BIOS limitation even I set 1700MHz but with CLR_CMOS! I heard that DFI 785G is limited to 1000MHz, Asus has better one 500-1500MHz

    Anyway VMOD + LN2 = 1200+

790GX didn't scaled so nicely with just cold, it needed volts aswell. Gotta return to the IGP game, man, I kinda miss it
