    A-Data Xtreme DDR3-2000X 6GB testing/Hyper lovin' ?

    Finally!
The boss fed the fish and the memory addict is back in action again after a refreshing yet frustratingly unlucky LN2 benching session in Athens Digital Week.

Yiwen from A-Data sent me a DDR3-2000X 6GB kit for the live overclocking show for the event & to review it afterward.

I haven't opened up the heatspreaders to see which chips this kit features, but I will do that shortly.

I believe these are Elpida Hyper MGH-E though.

I just started testing them thoroughly, so it'll take a while until I have something very meaningful for you guys.
For now I'll tease ya with a few quick tests from the Athens Digital Week overclocking preparation:

My guess is somewhere around 230 - 320 euros / 250 - 340$, but it's just a guess as I cannot locate them anywhere in Europe & in the US.

I'll ask my contact later on.

1025 CL7 - what volts and cooling? Stock'n'Stock? If so, then yes, they are HYPER! I hope they retail below 230 EURO, but even under 250 is excelent

I need my new CPU to arrive to get them stable at 2200 ( my 920's C0 & 965's C1 uncore craps out at 4.2GHz on air ).
And it doesn't look like I'll have my new 975 before this Friday

    Wish I knew
I think they did fix the sudden death syndrome.
    Hopefully.

Michal ( bachus_anonym ) should be able to confirm this.

I think its certain batches of the MNH-E will die spontaneously. Elpida has a new IC out MGH-E hypers which are similar but seem to overclock cas 7 slightly worse, the upside being that they dont die.

Should be 1.7V ( 1.68V @ BIOS ), but I'm not entirely sure ( gotta check my video notes on the camera ).
