Look who the cat dragged in.

Did someone feel the heat from Turtle's stamina, or are we just having a "pleasant" visit from the master of fire....

Welcome back, or should I say, thanks for the visit....DeadlyFire...

As you'll notice, we are all having trouble with the uploads.....it's server based..so no need to fiddle with your settings.
Alex has promised to take care of it, but we could look at a couple of months with this coming and going upload issue.

    PS
Good to see you have had a busy summer...

Dave as always is pounding the stats
Matijn, Mekoa, mrslinky, duh, and me tips in......

    Edit
Hope I remembered all present at the moment.....

A top 100 today, is hard, and 500 million don't come easy....

I felt like a king hitting that amount.

Oh yeah, it's official. We're getting cable

'Only' 30/3 for now, but 60/6 is only €10/month more. I might chip that in myself.

I am extremely jealous of Europe's internet infrastructure wish the U.S. had a little more encouragement I was tempting myself looking at verizon's fios upper tiers....right now I get 20/5 for $49/month, for $150 I could get 50/50 but it would bankrupt me.... /wish money grew on trees btw thanks for all the welcomes all

UK internet is crap. Not everywhere is cabled, even then its capped due to Virgin Media having complete monopoly.

    I pay £17.50 a month for 2.5/3mbit down, 1.1 up, ADSL2+.

Completely unlimited though, ideal for Mj12!

I and a lot of other people have been having problems with Verizon internet all day. According to Verizon: "via Twitter: a router responsible for peering in the Northeast failed. It was reset and traffic should be coming back." A few hours ago I couldn't even get google to load but now things are coming back online. Latency is still incredibly bad and half the time I get "connection timed out" but hopefully they fix it soon! i need my mj12 fix

BT is worse. My entire line was down yesterday, could hear enviromental noise in the line (it was really windy and raining outside). Line died completely at one point so I just moped about and had an early night.

Still down this morning, phoned BT.. did auto test, no issues. Picked up my phone, even though 5 mins previous it was dead, and est voila! A dial tone.... UGH.

Great to see some life in this team!
    I "moved up" from a 15/2 line to a 30/15..yes,mbit..
Couldn't resist, they dropped the price to $89.95/month..
Now I'll say it short but if all of you are smart do as much as you can before 2009 ends..
Down a road a year or two you will thank me for this advice.
