    Asus HD4670 512Mb vmods.

Well i'm doing vmods to HD4670 from asus, it uses non reference board so atleast one of the mods differs a bit.

Here's some pics, can somebody confirm that these could work?

Vmem and vgpu read points, well i think i can get em right.

Mods are confirmed, running at 970/1020 atm
Tho i had too small VRs, only 10KOhm, Vgpu is at 1.58V (1.3V stock), mems are at 2.1V (2.0V stock).

    Here's some pics

BTW NO these don't work on 1GB version or the other 512mb model.

Heh didn't solder directly into that FB pin, just into some 0805 pad which is connected to that pin

    sorry for picture,it's done.

for Vgpu,i see the pin 11,but for GND,i must use the pin 2?
and i not see where take the gnd

between pin11 and all green point,i have ~3.70Kohm(there are others with green pine 3.70Kohm)
    where take the GND please?

You can take ground from the Fan connector GND pin.

For reference GND measurements between FB use pin5 (AGND). For Vmod use some GND near that IC.
If that 3,7kohm is right, then use 100k VR.

    Good luck.

    ok,thanks
but is strange,i can run memory 1030mhz at Vstock(1.80v),but 1050mhz and more impossible, whatever the voltage...(tested up to 2.10V)...
for the gpu,i can run at 1070mhz 1.58v with stock cooling

    edit:i thing,because my 4670 is 1gb Gddr3...and quimonda chips.
i will test an sapphire 512mb(hynnix i think)

Little aftermath after about 2 weeks of daily use of this card:

    1020Mhz/1050Mhz 24/7 stable at 1.58v/2.1v
With twin turbo cooler temps won't go higher than 51c even fans are at 7V. Tho now i've this rig inside of case due lans, so gpu temps are around 70c :F Demolishes this darn small case tomorrow and puts this mobo on old trusty cartboard box

    Tested with different various games:
    Cod4
    Hl2
    Stalker1
    HoN
    Red faction: guerilla
    Mercs2
