The university I'm at thought my computer got a virus, and to keep the rest of the network from being infected cut off my internet. I've since got it back, but my computer still isn't approved to be put back on the network. I maintain I never had a virus, but if I put it on the network and it sets off the alarm again they've threatened, in all of their infinite wisdom, to take my computer till they find what's wrong with it or make me re-image the hard drive (which wouldn't be much of a problem other than it's my school computer that I do all my programming on.)
So basically I've been running every virus scan I can find in every way possible on the computer every second I'm not working on it because I can't afford to lose my computer and don't have time to re-image it. Since nothing has come up, I don't think there is anything there... But UT knows best...
Now the last time I got banned... that's a story!
