Intel changed the sensors on their Core i7 CPUs so as far as I know, the most RealTemp can ever show is 100C. When the core temperature goes beyond this number, it will keep showing the same thing. It's not a RealTemp issue, just Intel deciding that we don't need to know information like that.

The shut down temperature is approximately 125C. If any core hits that temperature then your computer should automatically shut down so the CPU doesn't get damaged. If you get that CPU cooled down it will probably start running just like new again. A little bit of heat usually doesn't hurt them too bad. Intel makes some rugged CPUs.

Another guy here in Brazil just fried an exactly same PSU as yours running on a Classified and high benchs. I would stop testing ang get another psu (borroud if it's the case) and test everything again. By my experience a bad PSU can compromise all system, specially when it's not completely dead yet, the danger could be worst.

Thanks everyone! I've checked the pump and it seems like everything is flowing fine. The return tubing is hot to the touch (hotter than normal) and if it is hot, that means there is water flowing through it, right? Like UncleWeb said (thanks for Real Temp by the way!), it was pegged out at 100C and it was immediately upon turning on the computer (I mean instantly!). I'm afraid to turn anything else on but what does everyone think it cannot be or can be if the pump and coolant are flowing fine?

do you use UV liquid? sometimes it breaks down and collects in the block.

Nope, I use distilled water and PT Nuke. Also, what is causing the first problem as temps were never an issue (68-70C max while Priming). It still sounds like something else is dying as not being able to bench anything that puts a graphic load on the system seems like a sign and I think the two are tied together.

Is it possible for a dying PSU to send massive amounts of voltage or VCore to the CPU?

Well, cooling problem solved. For some reason the pump didn't want to start but is working fine now. Sorry for the noobness and thanks everyone for the help. I still think it might be something with the PSU though.

Same problem exists as before. Even at all stock settings, anytime I put a load to the GPU's, the computer reboots at random times but always pretty quick. Any ideas? Hopefully I have a new PSU to test with coming today.

    Update:

Well, I think I narrowed it down to the PSU. I used the PCI-E disable jumpers and disabled GPU #2. Once I did this, I was able to run any benchmark 100% complete everytime I tried it. This makes me believe that capacitor degradation or some other PSU degradation is causing this and the 920 and 2 4870x2's were just too much for it.

RMA has already been requested. I'll let everyone know the outcome. Thanks for everyone's help!!

Had a similar problem with my old rig so I upgraded to a PPC 1200 Turbocool. Fixed the issue.

It soulds like THE EXACT problem I had a couple years ago (then I had a BFG 750watt(). One of the rails were getting overloaded so I went single rail and never looked back. HTH
