Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

you apparently never had a sucky 920 :p 4ghz with HT on was 1.45 here lol... it seems quite common to be around 1.4Vcore with many I5/7 S1156 CPU's...

~1.4 vcore is very common with the i7 8XXs for 4GHz. 4GHz also seems to be the average overclock..

raising your PLL is the key to getting your OC stable, give it a try. Set it to 1.9-2.0 and you should be good to go.

did you up the ramvoltage or not ? did you try more relaxed ram timings ? are you running turbo on or not ?

If your ram is specified for 1.65, set it to 1.67 or 1.65. 1.62 could mean the difference of being unstable or stable.

Up the VTT a bit, 1.36 might be a bit low. It took me 1.4 for 4GHz with my ram @ 1,600.

that's wayy too much. Put it back to 1.67 or so, 1.75 would probably be too much for those clocks on the ram.
