some run benches Phenoms II (c2,C3, E0 ..) with AIR and normal ambients

After some time i was a bit benchmarking my CPU, x4 955 BE (0911EPMW), with AIR cooling CM Hyper 212, motherboard midrange MA790X-UD4 in classic miditower case, my room temperatures ranged between 21-22 C.

First i began testingmy favourite benchmarks...
    [First my new max validation:

4305 MHz not bad, i think, for retail Phenom II and normal room temps  . I hope higher im winter

I was sleeping and continued today:
Today was firts Cinebench in x86 WIN XP , here is each extra point hard fought.

    Cinebench R10-32bit 12 754 points, with 3958 MHz

I just broke my record by about 10 points

Than i was going to x64 win7. My previous record:

    Unfortunately, i had no luck.
Despite the higher frequency of CPU, which I was able to run Cinebench, result was about 150 points lower. The problem was that busspeed 206 crashes program Cinebench. I probably third time he managed to pass, but score was worse. I have tried different settings on the 3939 MHz and 3958MHz with lower uncores it is also the original result was not enough. So perhaps another time ...

For a change, I booted into Win XP x86 and began 1M superpi

    1M=16.469s při 4162 MHz

Finally i started demanding SuperPi 32M (DDR2 There are a lot of convoys with disabilities compared to DDR3

How are you liking that CM Hyper 212? I was thinking about buying it but went for a Core Contact Freezer instead.

Nice results on air. Oh, thanks for noticing me too BTW (you included me in the list of experianced OCers. I really like my Xigmatek, Though I have to give some of the credit to the Skeliton case with the very nice cooling it gives. That still seems like a nice cooler you are running.

Tbh, i can't really comment on that, it's too long for me since i used air really.

Judging by chew*'s results i would say 50-100MHz more on the cores and 50MHz more on the CPU-NB.

Watercooling will keep your cpu cooler under load, especially with high(er) voltage, that's what matters.

I cant run benches with 3000 MHz at NB...maybe i have only a bit fear from cpu-nb voltage (for 2880 i have 1.45V at CPU-NB)

my next is run Cinebench about 4000 MHz with 1.55V at x86 and validation 4350 MHz , maybe too superpi 32M at 4080-4100 MHz (i like gigabyte boards, its only mainstream board for AMD and so great for OC...)

Nice chip you have there FlanK3r.....

It looks to me like the cooler you have is doing a FINE job! Those are killer clocks for Air cooling.
I have a Xigmatek 1283, it's a great HSF but I really doubt it would be worth the $$$ to change from the Hyper 212.

Like Zeus said you'd be better off to save a little extra cash and switch to water, it's not going to get you a whole lot more but personally I wouldn't even bother changing the air cooler you have.
It seems to be doing a great job!

new max validation 4326 MHz with 1.55 (maybe possible too with 1.53V)
    http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=730114 but red validation :-/
To time i have problem with 4 GHz Cinebench run, 2 from 3 runs ended exit program Cinebench behind rendering (30s rendering +-) and one was "Blue screen". Wtf? Can be it one core crashed at this clock?

Very good results on AIR FlanK3r!

With Cinebench4D scores varies between runs quite a lot, so that would explain lower score on slightly higher clock ...
Anyway I feel very lucky with my early 940BE because it can do almost as good as recent 955BE and 965BE!

Hopefully next stop for us will be C3 or Thuban
