Not exactly the greatest, but the greatest available at my location
Comcast Business, still docsis 2 here, $109/month

I did get to hang out with with our IT guys and the AT&T fiber install crew this morning as they ran a 24 pair fiber line into our building. We are going to only use 2 of the fibers for a 20/20 Qwest connection

You're only as fast as the server/PC you're downloading from. If they upload at 2 or 5mb/s and you DL at 100, guess what?

I have an amazing 2-3Meg download at best with 0.75Meg upload, all for the low price of £17 / month.

This is the best I can get in my area and I live on the very edge of a city. (Penwortham, England.) It's ridiculous.

I'm having to look into getting a leased line and am hoping that TalkInternet (Virgin business reseller) will take pitty on me and cut me some slack with the price.

I'd happily pay £100 / month for unlimited 40 / 10 FTTC, but although our exchange is activated for FTTC BT haven't actually placed any cabinets in the area.

Embarrassing Australian crap in a remote-esque area -

    $40 AUD /month, completely unlimited...

[Edit] Curious to know if anyone here has Gb/s net ??? or for that matter what the fastest connection in the world is, I heard it used to be the one from CERN in Geneva to California (6.63Gb/s) ???

Paying $70. There's no other option here. AT&T Uverse has a huge cap and Charter doesn't seem to care..... yet.
    You must [not] advance.

    My connection:

Since I'm a Telecom Company employee I did not pay my DSL connection per month plus I can diagnose and configure de DSLAM myself! I've started with 4MB/512KB then after a new DSLAM came to service near my home I bosted it to 12/1 and after my home network was upgraded to newer cables and everything, bosted it to 14/1... Still need to change the outside cable that runs to the DSLAM, waiting for a truck to crush it!!

    EDIT.:

After a little update to FTTH -GPON!
