    SPi 32M - 6m 11.438 :: Clarkbar i5 660 @ 6558MHz w/QPI @ 5344MHz

    i was sick of double posting in my other thread, plus a global top 3 in SPi 32M deserves its own spot. seen live last night by hundreds of viewers @ www.livestream.com/3oh6...okay so maybe 5 or 6 is a more accurate number. needless to say i thought i was recording the session...turns out i suck and don't know how to use the controls

    //the setup...

    Clarkbar i5 660 ES (934b) - yup, still the same one
    EVGA P55 Classified 200 w/A58 (thanks Petey and the crew, killer BIOS )
    OCZ Blade PC3-17000 - yup, still the same ones
    Kingpincooling.com F1EE - the only way to go
    Windows 2K3 - super wicked awesome special Clarkbar 32M edition

    //temps while running...

    //drum roll please...

    SPi 32m // 6m 11.438 @ 6558MHz // QPI @ 5343MHz // RAM @ 971MHz 6-7-6 // HWBot Link

    Clarkbar does have some teeth, you just gotta make them dig in...QPI: The Cold Bug Killer - coming soon to a theater near you

    thanks guys, it was a great session last night. started out good and just got better with a good group of guys in the chat box. the only thing that had me worried was that most of these Clarkbar deaths don't seem to occur during the session, rather, the morning after at stock settings. so the first thing i did this morning was slap the phase back on the old girl...

    straight to kicking QPI...looks like this 660 is asking for more

    thanks Chris, definitely exceeded my expectations, that is for sure. the -154C cold bug allowed for higher CPU clocks than i really thought possible. having the F1 EE strapped to this CPU made it super easy to keep temps right at -150C. empty pot with tiny splashes every 5-10 seconds FTW

    yeah man, you missed quite the show. ran 6m 15.407 at 6490MHz, then hammered out a 6m 13.141 immediately after at 6531MHz, then the fun began.

    had some crazy screen freezes, system got wonky, thought it was done. managed a 6m 11.500 flat at the same clocks as above but the system froze running my screen shot program. i even said right before hitting print screen that i should just use paint...i was right.

    i thought the system was done again after another round of wonkyness but after another BIOS clear, got POST, the clocks stuck, and 32M spit out this 6m 11.438. perseverance and luck came together for one run. but i love the fact that i ran 32M at these clocks for the better part of 4-5 hours and only used 15L of LN2...if that

    if you go to the OC Report for this kit here, you will see 6-7-6 runs 980MHz at 1.85v...even today, almost 8 months of abuse later, they still only need 1.85v to run those clocks. these sticks are truly a mans best friend.

    i only have an F1EE but cold boot isn't a factor, just cold bug. the F1EE was awesome last night in letting me hold this chip at -150C almost exact. even at 6.5GHz+ with 2v, a single core Clarkbar doesn't generate too much heat for an empty F1EE to flinch when running 32M. just a small splash that boiled off almost instantly every few seconds held the temp rock steady.

    with no cold bug though, a Venom would be my first choice for sure.

    I just went back and read the thread again. I'm completely dumbfounded by this oc. beside the fact that his qpi is at 5387 @ 244 bclk and running the mem at respectable timings and speed. 6m 11sec 32m run on a $200 dual core cpu is just frickin' crazy.

    this oc is completely mindblowing on so many levels. congrats to no 4. 32m keep going
