Still almost no lights, although it's working several months already. Not the first version though. Hardware changed during that time, too

    Here's the setup 24/7:

MB: Asus M3A78-T - pretty old one, but was one of the few options on our market when I bought it.
    CPU: AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3893MHz (0852BPAW)
    RAM: 2x2GB OCZ Blade LV DDR2 @ 1222MHz
    VC: Asus HD4890 ref @ 1050/4800
    Case: CoolerMaster HAF932
    PSU: CoolerMaster M700

    WaterCooling:

    CPU: D-Tek FuZion v2
    NB: Swiftech MCW30
    VC: EK-FC4890 LT
    Rad: ThermoChill PA120.3
    Pump: Swiftech MCP655
    Reservoir: XSPC Bay
Tubing: Masterkleer 7/16" ID 5/8" OD
    Coolant: Feser One Red UV

Some sleeving and other minor things.

And one very old case next to the HAF..lookin' so silly
    X6 1090T (1010MPMW) @ 4267MHz 1.44V NB@3229MHz 1.33V | Asus Crosshair IV Formula | 2x2GB Corsair Dominator GTX2 @ 1845MHz 6-6-5-17-22 1T | Asus HD4890 @ 1050/4800 | Corsair HX850W | HAF 932
    EK Supreme HF | EK-FC4890LT | MCP655 + Koolance D5 Top | ThermoChill PA120.3 + 3x Enermax Magma | XSPC Bay res | Masterkleer 1/2" UV Red

yes, i had same problem, am fixed this issue by replacing capacitors on each channel from stock 220uF to 470uF. Use only 16Volt capacitors.

Well it was very hard. I about quit three times. i am glad i kept going. I am now cleaning the cuts it up abit with some UV trimming. I wanted to use my 1/2 green but i could get teh loops small enough to bend nicly so i went with 3/8. It is cool and powerful what more can you ask for.

full work log here on how it was all put in.

@ jjsky5000 - Man that is one of the flat out coolest and most inventive projects I have ever seen. I'll admit that at first I only saw the top picture you had posted, and I wasn't quite sure what I was looking at. After I saw the other two, I just had to go look at your worklog for it. The scope of vision and creativity here are absolutely amazing. To not only turn the boombox into a mod for a water cooled rig, but to also allow the original shape and visual scheme of the boombox to be held, while enhancing it in subtle and creative ways, AND having the system be effective, I'm just at a loss for how you came up with this. Well done!
