I guess I should post up my open air case. This is my first watercooling rig.
youtube link... camera really washed out the colors, but a good walk around of the system http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-kYlDGWCSY

Too many pics, you're banned!
LOL, I've seen that "case" in a CPU Magazine Review... weird looking.
Signatures make my posts look huge... but I'm not humble enough to completely remove my signature, so I kept this note explaining it.

Sorry for quoting pictures but they're all on the same page so no extra bandwidth used. I have a few questions:
Which case is that? At first I though the black cables ties around the graphics card power cables looked cheap and that you should've used green, but the more I look at it the more I like it
How did you get that "DNA" in the reservoir?
And finally, how did you get the bubbles in your reservoir?

Not sure, but i believe DB built that case himself, am I correct?
It's a T-Virus Inverse, designed by FrozenQ. I believe his latest design is in one of the threads on the first or second page of this forum.
Either he's still bleeding, or he has a high flow setup, and that's cavitational bubbles you're seeing. In any case, although they look mighty fine, I'd prefer my loop without bubbles .
Oj101, the case you like is an Av8 case from www.caseappeal.net. I did a couple builds using that case for last CES.
"Thing is, I no longer consider you a member but, rather a parasite...one that should be expunged."
Just because others did it doesn't mean that it's right to do it. Also, OJ101 didn't quote all the pictures, he quoted the ones that he wants to talk about.
You, other the other hand, quoted an entire post with 15 pictures. Quoting an image is clearly prohibited on this thread. Now that I told you, please don't do it next time.

Well DB linked but thanks all the same
Thanks for that too, I think it's a nice feature and I'll look for them in a moment
I know bubbles aren't good but those REALLY look good. In fact, after seeing this thread I may very well scrap my ideas of continueing my current theme of blue and my future plan of elegant black and white and go GREEN It looks awesome, but I really don't know what to do Perhaps I'll just stay with what I have when I get my CM690II (non Advance), but my motherboard already has a blue theme (MSI 790FX-GD70) and my future board will continue that theme (Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD7 or MSI 890FX-GD70). Can anyone tell me if it looks alright to match a board of one colour with a theme of another colour?
Finally, thanks to DB for the link

I know right, green's got me thinking too . Especially since he only used some kink coils and green leds.
If there's one thing I learned at high school in art class is that if you want a color to look good, you got to repeat it throughout the painting. A few things you should know, which I have been thought:
1. some colors just don't work well together. The look they create when they get combined isn't perceived as "harmonic" by the human mind. Try selecting your colors carefully. If you have a component that already has non-harmonic colors, you better create on hell of a painting to make it unnoticable.
2. repetition. One is the loniest number. Try repeting colors throughout the painting. This way, the painting won't look to chaotic, and it's easier for the mind to absorb the entire picture as a whole, instead of looking at all the different components.
3. dont use too many colors. The amount you use mostly depends on your own preference, but I usually stick to 2-4 colors, with of course some variations (several types of black that look similar and are harmonic).
Hope that helped a bit. Btw, I don't mean to be some sort of 'art-critic' here, I'm just sharing some personal experiences to help others .
I know, but the problem is that my motherboard isn't only passively blue (blue components) but also actively blue (LEDs). Regardless of how I do it, there won't be too many colours:
Black internals with white cabling and tubing, blue motherboard, white lighting
Black internals with blue cabling and blue, black or white tubing, blue motherboard, blue lighting
Black internals with green cabling and black or white tubing, blue motherboard, green lighting
At the moment I have silver internals, blue and UV blue cabling, blue tubing, blue motherboard, UV lighting and I'm pretty sick of it. I'm leaning towards the ideas in bold but would appreciate some insight or comments
Oh, I can actually turn off the motherboard lights. Amazing what you can learn by RTFM

PLEASE - DON'T QUOTE IMAGES or large amounts of text - it doesn't matter if they are on the same page.
Also - remember the rules - only 4 images per post - exception if you're showing more than one case, but please use this minimally. AND - check out the first post for rules on photo size.
This thread is to highlight finished water cooling builds. While it's fine to comment on the systems you like, or ask a specific question - let's not go overboard. Please use the PM system. If you've posted a system that's getting lots of comments / questions - then please start a thread either in the general LC section or the Worklog section, as people obviously are interested in your system and would like to discuss it.
