    Falcon SSD questions

Guys, I tried to do the firmware update on my 64GB Falcon tonight to prepare for os installation and I hit some hurdles. I tried with the SSD fitted with a Vista install and the updating program said no supporting disk found. So I tried it on an XP install and disk properties show the disk as 128GB , what does this mean ? Does the jumper affect this somehow ?

I downloaded pcwizard as mentioned on the gskill forum and it shows it as 137GB .... odd size ey ? How do I tell what version my firmware is ? Its shown there but doesnt look anything like the name format of the new firmware, its 00.P80 , what does that represent ? Pcwizard also says it has 1024 kB cache , this doesnt seem correct either, can someone tell me what is going on ?

    Any help would be great.

Yes, make sure when you update the firmware the jumper is properly used. Check to ensure that you have the correct firmware update file for your specific capacity. If you use HDTune, you will be able to see what version your firmware is. Make sure to properly format your drive as well for proper usage. Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you
