I picked a set of these sticks up just because I thought $100 was a good price for 2x2GB of DDR3-2000. Great results guys! Looking forward to getting mine (hoping for 7-8-7-21 @ 1.65V for 24/7).

Insert one stick in the second slot. Boot to the Memtest CD with that single stick and allow for two full passes. Shut the system down. Remove the first stick and insert it in slot four. Repeat memtest. Shut the system down. Remove the first stick and replace it with the second stick and repeat memtest. You have now tested two sticks singly and Slot 2 and 4.

Now test for the Dual Channel Mode function of the memory controller. Insert a stick in slot two and slot four and memtest.

Results? Can you post a screenshot of the Memtest with Dual Channel and your BIOS settings.

What would you pick Trident 2000 CL9 or Ripjaws 2000 CL9 if Trident is only 3 EUR expensier. From the looks I like the way Trident looks and it wouldn't block as much air in the middle if using push/pull fan config on cpu cooler. I don't understand why these 2 kits exist though, 1 had been enough and there had been no difficulty to pick. :p Now you get the feeling maybe I had got better results with the other kit and vice versa. :s

Any1 knows if there's stricter binning for Trident or sth, or is the heatsink differences where cost differences only come from?

Well what it looks to me the Ripjaws heatsinks seems to work well if there's lots of airflow around them (which there is in my setup) and the Trident works better when there's a little less airflow (compared to Ripjaws). Also the ram slots are quite close to cpu socket on my UD5 so might go for ripjaws after all as they don't seem too tall (in case for future cpu cooler incompability).

EDIT: placed an order for Ripjaws 2000. Couldn't stand using this crappy 2x1GB Corsair DDR3-1600 CL9 kit anylonger that does only ~DDR-1600 9-9-9-24 at 1.66v. The fix for ">2GB RAM issue" for kX Audio drivers arrived sooner than I had expected which while sux that it arrived at the same day I installed my s1156 upgrade, at least I'm able to enjoy some proper RAM performance now. :p

This may seem a bit OOT but I was wondering which P55 boards offer FSB/DRAM ratio adjustment. I just bought AsRock P55 Deluxe and this option is either not available on AsRock or I simply can't find it. This is quite weird as Deluxe is their most advanced board. Any ideas?

Is it alright to mix this memory with Team Xtreem 2000mhz or Geil 2133mhz modules? Am i right to say more modules = harder to higher clocks/tighter timings?

These sticks are wonderful, booted right up at DDR3-2004 8-9-8-24 at 1.65v on the first boot and were stable as rock so that's a good sign.

Can any1 post a CPU-tweaker screenshot with a good subtiming set to compare to. As this is my first DDR3 setup I'm not very familiar with what's low/high so would save me some time. Thx.

Like for Venom-Crusher this kit seems to like 9-10-9... here's a DDR3-2292 1.65v 9-10-9-24 run. I haven't yet tested stability thoroughly but memtest ran fine for a few mins that I tested and also UT3.

(not tweaked subtimings, only B2B set to 1 and TRFC at 72)
