question, any of you know how the ram would run on a x48 chipset mmm...
I love intel for bringing Nehalem to a dual-channel platform
These Ripjaw 2000mhz 9-9-9 is really cheap, it might actually come to these modules when I order new RAM in late October...
I'll trust Chew* on this and stay away from Powerchips for my AMD system

CPU: Phenom II X4 955BE
Clock: 4200MHz 1.4375v
Memory: Dominator GT 2x2GB 1600MHz 6-6-6-20 1.65v
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
GPU: HD 5770
Damn these are cheap for clocks like that. I got 3 of these kits ordered for my x58 build. Only problems is, do the protruding ramsinks get in the way of a megahalems? The ramsinks look pretty low and nothing like the height of patriots... It would be a shame if I got 12gb of this stuff only to find out it's too tall and gets blocked by a megahalems.

Btw was there any difference between "Ripjaw" and "Trident" when it comes to the chips?
Cause memoryc sells both of them @ 2000mhz 9-9-9-27 1.65v, but Trident costs abit more:

I have only managed to boot with 6-7-6-20, at 6-6-6-20 it doesnt show the bios post, even with 1.65v
DDR3 1600Mhz 6-7-6-20 1T 1.52v 1024M

Tested with the same timings as yours and it's way slower in wprime:
410seg 7-9-7-20
then i used 7-8-8-20 and i got:
210seg
DDR3 2000Mhz 7-8-8-20 1T 1.63v 1024M
DDR3 2000Mhz 7-8-8-20 1T 1.63v Everest
