After building my current I7 rig I've almost got enough parts for a decent second PC, just needing a PSU to fire it up again.
I'm not wanting to spend too much, but thinking on the OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w Silent SLI Ready Modular Power Supply that goes for about £75 here in the UK.
My old parts consist of ...
Asus Rampage Formula X48, E8400 @ 4GHz, 4GB Corsair Dominator, 2 x HD4870 512MB's in Crossfire, will use a spare Raptor 150 and a 750GB storage HD, spare DVD burner, onboard add on asus sound card for now with a PCI (Probably X Fi Extreme gamer later) sound card to be added later.
I used my current Corsair HX1000 on it before, knew that was overkill for it, but knew I'd be upgrading soon too.
The case will be my old Antec 900 with stock fans and one additional 120 side panel fan.
Will the OCZ be fine? the Crossfire cards are my main concern.
Thanks.
