    I could never justify to my wife why to spend $5000 on a friggin notebook! You could build several high speed computers and a car for that price..

    "I could never justify to my wife why to spend $5000 on a friggin notebook! You could build several high speed computers and a car for that price.."

    its a lil over $2,000..such drama relax plz.... i wouldnt spend 5k either.i think laptops are useless for me,desktops crush them for a fraction of the price most times.tho some ppl like laptops and actually like gaming....

    @enjoy
    "He means, what makes this a hot deal? Looks like exactly the opposite to me."

    the deal is if u want a strong gaming power laptop,u can pre-order this thing now period.shame most ppl forgot here laptops/computers and GAMING video cards are meant to play games on???....sorry to point this fact out....i keep forgetting %90 benchmark guys here and only %10 true gamers.weird me i thought some GAMERS would really like this.but continue to bash away....typical bored xs guys.if it was a $200 laptop deal then were in buisness i see...

    "Looks like exactly the opposite to me"

    really?

    280m x 2 = $600 or close

    18.4 widescreen price is close to $300-$400 im thinking

    $1,000 right there

    add a cpu atleast another $250 ,thats $1,250

    few solid state drives $300-$400 thats $1,550 right there.....?

    mobo =$???

    dvd burner $?

    o wait memory ..another $300...hmm ya your right Enjoy. "its the oppositie". build 1 cheaper then plz.and make the keyboard as hi tech also....rofl

    Dude, check it out! With a QX9300, 8GB RAM, 3 year Sager warranty, Vista Ultimate 64, Laptop cooler (cause you know you are gonna need one!), 3 160GB HDD, and Blue-ray, you are looking @ $6327 which equates to a really expensive laptop without shipping!
    And, I ACTUALLY GAME.. What a surprise!
    I was simply commenting on the justification of spending that much on a laptop. I was not attacking you or your post in any way, so I think YOU need to RELAX the DRAMA.

    My comment was simply to state that this is NOT a DEAL.

    Full retail price is not a deal.

    This subforum is Online DEALS and SALES.

    This just shouldn't have been posted.

    i would consider a preorder worthy of being here
    as its not really subject to the "normal price" thing if it isnt out yet

    I was thinking the exact same thing! Why people believe that these are true 280 GPUs is ridiculous. Of course, renaming a GPU as many times as nVidia has is ridiculous as well. Nvidia.....just STOP IT!!! >>sigh<<

    Ummmm a notebook with 4870x2 would be the faster and cheaper too , but really 4850 and a 2.6 C2D is most you one should get in a mobile platform , that is a sweet spot right now .Not to beat a dead horse but this is not a deal at all .
