Zeus: I'm not sure if you use that Indoor/Outdoor thermometer all the time or not, but I thought that was a really cool idea...
It lets you know to crank the fans if the water temp gets too high, so naturally I went to Radio Shack and bought one for $20.

WOW Simon, you deal with terrorists? Your crazy man...
I got this great deal with a banker from Nigeria worth $4 million and I don't even have to send him money!
All he needs is my Name/Address/SS and bank account number.

    Your getting ripped off man!!!!

Depending on how extended that crossfire link can be you more or less succeeded but not with 30 systems though.

Since all our machines were connected to this webpage you succesfully linked the machines,....hmmmm.... not bad man!

    Terrorism huh?

What the devil is a doomsday machine?

Nice one Dave! What is that 47% indication? Humidity?

I'm not using it all the time but it came in handy for this test.

The white color doesn't suit my claen car, lol.

I know man.... I really wanted a glossy black one to match my monitor, but waddaya want from Rat Shack...

Maybe I can get it powder coated (evil grin)...

Yeah, the 47% is humidity... I'm really considering a TEC/water block. That humididty reading might come in handy down the road (avoiding condensation)...

i swear by the 1283 i had tried quite a few different coolers before this one including zalman 9700, zerotherm nirvana, and a couple others and with every one i was always let down and expecting more but the 1283 has been nothing but great. when i switched to the ultra kaze 3000rpm fan it was even better obviously and honestly makes it hard to get the cores over 50c with decent ambients

I begged Macci to add CnQ support in Overdrive for unlocked CPUs. And so it was. My contribution to green overclocking.

I've had good results with my CM Hyper 212 Plus and push-pull fans. I don't know how much better the Xig 1283 would do though. Thinking about covering the sides of the fins. Anybody know how much of a temp decrease this yields?

this will give you a stable 4.0 provided its only a single loop to a CPU. http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoba.html

if its 3/8" OD it would be better, but thats a good basic kit.
