    so the MSI 4890 didn't have any cooling on memory chips or VRM area out of the box ???

    No. Not even the SOC cards have cooling over anything but the core.

    yeah George, nothing on the PWM or the memory. the PWM is obviously different from the reference card using LowRDS MOSFETs and they are cool to the touch under any operating conditions i could throw at them.

    wow, thanks guys, i really appreciate it. small update with higher GPU clocks. i also ran 06 with high memory and uncore clocks...



    running 06 at -105C +/-...
