    Thumbs up ClockGen for NF2

I don't know if you all have seen but ClockGen for NF2 among others is up.

It seems that the PCI speeds and AGP speed are connected in some way. As you increase AGP the PCI values also go up. If the values are correctly displayed that is...

If only the 8rdavcore worked on the Abit NF2?

Lemme know if the changing the FSB works with it.

It's greyed out on epox boards..so i just use the nv utility.. if he fixes that it'll be perfect.

And with the 8rdavcore, i can use 1.87v & higher without cutting that pin on the vreg. Much thanks to hasw

Yep fsb adjustment appears to be working on the nf7vcore utility! I went down a couple mhz then went up and unfortunately experienced a freeze. But I had Clockgen for NF2 open as well. So there may have been a conflict there.

Also vcore seems to work. AGP volts is greyed out. I didn't change the Vdd nor the Dimm as a test out.

It's amazing now that nVidia has made the info available how much easier things are. All these things should have been available all along.... Oh well.

    Hate to pop everyones bubble...

This program his given both me and my mate a lot of trouble fortunatly i've come off better than him.

From the second i changed the vcore in this program, my PC froze requiring a CMOS reset to get it back up again. Unfortunatly my mates mobo appears to be dead from using this piece of software, mobo will not post/beep after anything.

    A word of caution...

Sorry to hear of the unfortunate incident. Which version of the program did you use?
I used .2Beta and there didn't appear to be a problem. Hmm strange....
Actually there is apparently version .3 available now as well.

    Drisler,
I heard a while back about this proggy as well but didn't investigate further due to bypassing the 8rda saga all together.

EDIT: I just checked it's up to 0.7Beta now....

I've been looking for a ClockGen for my Abit NF7-S mobo. I am a little lazing when it comes to adjusting thing in the BIOS. I see that you haven't had any problems. Is there anything special you had to do with the program or did everything just work perfectly for ya ?

If you were referring to me. Then the ClockGen appears to work satisfactorily. As far as I have seen so far.

It only has fsb and AGP setting adjustment. Which cut's down on user inflicted problems some what....

Also the settings you see on the first post are basically what the system runs at 24/7.
