more looks like his 975 got reconised as a 920 or so? :P which then had a huge bclock jump and he validated that? :P sort of my 5,5 ghz validation lol

Anyhow, some results. my 32M effiency is bullocks, i know, havent used maxmem or any other tweaks yet, still trying to figure everything out. consider it a test :P

anyhow, started off with 1M. fiddled around alot, basicly went with 2:10 mem multiplier, actually didnt test 2:8 and tight timings, perhaps that would've bin better?

    http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=893563

next up i tried some 32M, as i said, this is really the first time trying 32M, let alone knowing how to tweak it, so my eff must be horrible

    http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=893567

Last but not least, pi_fast , suprised it actually ran that high, guess that says it was really the bclock limit , whilst the cpu had plenty of room left.

All in all i really enjoyed the cpu, great potential, next up is a W3540 or 950

great results, however belated they are. Train yourself for superpi before your next dice session. Low-Clock it and get max performance so you know what to do. You'll be able to kick some but if you can get your clock efficiency up a bit.

thanks, yeah i know. im fairly new to it all. did 1M / 32M / Pi_fast all in a few hours, time for doing timings / sub-timings wasnt really there.

the 920 is sold a few weeks ago, just looking for something good now so i can start benching again

thanks guys, waiting for my F1 LN2 cooler, dewar from germany, and still trying to find a nice cpu.
after that the Liquid nitrogen will come around asap, so i can start benching again.

Going to see if i can get a gpu on aswell, i can still learn alot from 2D, especially tweaking the memory, and 32M.
    But 3dmark06 is so cool

Can't wait to see some LN2 results from you. Just find a nice chip as this i7 920 was and make some nice numbers.
    That i7 920 was awesome
