    I could only get one corner of one spreader to lift - it looked like D9GTS but couldve been GTR. These are old stock too - got them in clearnace 50% off .

    Also have 3gb ocz gold 1600 which is single sided D9JNL. Good cheap kit.

    Try www.memoryc.com - they ship internationally, carry a huge range and are really helpful.

    18x is my best multi for fsb clocking, and it looks like i may be able to max out the cpu at around that speed .

    Not sure whether to go for stabilising this now or to leave that for the end and sort my ram and uncore out now. Running prime atm so ive got 10 misn or so to decide :p.
    Tried your little trick and got this

    Works with d0 too then - glad it helped you oggie .

    Having difficulty with uncore at high bclk. Im stable at 21 x 210 using 6x mem and 12 x uncore. However get bsod's at 18 x uncore and freezes at 20 x uncore. Tried vdimm up to 2v - no go.

    Anyone tried messing with the qpi and cpu latency and drive settings with any success? Not tried ioh or cpu clock delays either.

    I may just be at the limit for my cooling to be fair. I've been weighing up a spare Alphacool 360mm XT I did an epoxy repair on. I reckon I can squeeze it in the front of my case. Likely to take months tho as itll need a few days for a full rebuild and case modding.

    Managed 3dmark at 21 x 212 tho. I'll have to do a graphics overclock and get a score published. 26k in '06 looks feasible. Not tried vantage yet.

    You tried increasing IHO v to 1.30 ? It normaly helps with higher speeds

    The link Lord Trident put up in the original post is working fine for me? If you pm me your email address ill email you the bios .

    Im already at IOH 1.36 (1.398v dmm) - I think I can drop this a lot though, maybe 1.25 or so. It may be one of the southbridge voltages - its less stable when i put them back to default. These things need so much tweaking to max out...just cos you find the max of everything separately doesnt mean itll all go together...

    I´m afraid problem is on your side of cable.. your PC is adwared, wormed, malwared or god know what.. try Avast + Spybot SD.

    Setting CPU delay to 200ps helps a bit for me. CPU and QPI latency tried at maximum 250 and 240.. helped me with higher CPU freq to be more stable.

    About uncore, well anything near 3.8GHz uncore and more, requires lot of VTT if you are OCing whole system.. little bit less, if you push just uncore. Limit is usually around 4GHz.. (I´ve managed that semi-stable).

    20x210 = 4,2GHz which is way too high for uncore to work. Good freq is around 3,6 GHz, thats where I have it for 24/7.

    The BloodRage Archive links won't work for a few hours as I... forgot to renew my domain names! ( well done! )

    Depending on the update status of your ISP's DNS server you'll be able to use the BloodRage BIOS Archive in 2 - 24 hours.

    Doh!!

    I'll email you the bios in 10 mins or so dude .

    Weird thing with the uncore is that I can get into windows and run a few loops of linx at 4500mhz+, I just get a bsod after 10 mins or so at load with it any higher than 3950. Clock interrupt on secondary processor blah blah.

    The 8x ram multi isnt really an option with cas 7 not working, so im stuck at 1200 - 1300mhz and 6-6-6-14-1t. Will try memset to get a few 5's in there - board wont post with any timings set to 5 in bios.

    Could still be heat buildup - afterall my loop is overloaded really for linx testing at 4.3ghz+. Fine for prime etc, just linx. 90+ cpu temp in linx..

    You mean CPU freq or Uncore freq? I meant uncore before.

    hate using windows based flashing utilities, im using Windows 7 x64bit, ever since one went wrong for me in Vista x64 which apparently supported it, just stopped responding, nothing left to do but restart, and never came back on.

    Well I did it. I updated to P09 from G25 I decided to start from square one after a full CMOS clear just to be sure no remnant stuff was left behind. Right now I'm making my BCLK stable at 215 as I'm going to shoot for 4.5GHz with HT on and see if P09 is going to treat me and my D0 well

    I have the CPU running at 3GHz with 1,051 Vcore loaded which I know is stable to eliminate that variable. BCLK related settings:

    BCLK: 215
    PCIe: 102
    QPI: 18x
    Uncorex: 18x (3,875GHz)
    Memory: 8x (1722MHz)
    IOH: 1.24v
    Vtt: 1.312v (+120mV)

    I just ran LinX 3 passes and it succeeded - initial stability seems ok. Now going to let Prime Blend run for a while and see how that holds up.. If that works out well, I'll keep dropping Vtt to try to go as low as possible with it - I know I am going to have to up that again once I am going to speed up the cores (higher core = more intense L3 cache / IMC usage). So far it's all looking good!

    I did the same thing magicbox, updated to P09, then did a complete clear cmos and clean setup of the bios, I cant see that anything new has been added to this bios since G25, just a couple of options have been moved around.

    Ran a straight set of 20 passes on Linx 6.2.0 on exactly the same settings I was using in both G25 and P06.

    CPU = 4,202mhz (200x21) 1.28v
    MEM = 1600mhz 1.65v
    Blk = 200

    I remember one of you guys talking about finding a bug in this bios already and was waiting to see if anyone else picked up on it, well what ive picked up on so far is this bios is way slower than the previous one I was using (P06), Windows seems to take longer to boot, POST seems to take longer and also the initial bios screen seems to take longer to pass, maybe its just me being picky.

    One other problem ive discovered, is once in Windows, not all of my start-up items, ................well started, even important things like the audio driver, I had to restart a couple of times for this to launch, and even then my ATI control panel never started, I just ended up manually launching that.

    Im gonna try a format and see if that cures some of the problems, as my system is way past due for one, all this tweaking and crashing, temp instability damages the Windows install.

    You have any clock delays set? Either CPU or IOH skew? Setting those to a 'wrong' value can have that effect. I leave those to the defaults as that seems to be the most stable anyways, these settings come into play when you want to push your BCLK hard, which 200 isn't.

    P09 hasn't given me any problems so far. In fact, I'm now running 4400MHz stable. 4500 is just too much for my D0. I could get it stable but it would take excessive voltage, over 1.47 and that's too much for my liking (even though temps fully loaded stay below 90 which I consider the absolute max for 5 minutes stresstesting). From then on I just 'stresstest' with gaming. No excessive temps and if they BSOD, I just add a notch Vcore untill crashes go away. 4400MHz however I can still load for an extended period of time without temps going crazy.

    no I leave the skew's at default too, if blk 200 isnt pushing hard, then why the hell can i get past it, no matter what I do, it just wont pass it, I got to 202 earlier but that was by bumping the mem voltage upto 1.7v and the NB upto 1.3v, it wouldnt go any further than that.

    I have +70 on the cpu volts giving me 1.28v but im scared to put anymore through it as my temps hit 85oC now, accoring to realtemp.

    see my bios settings here, they are exactly the same for P09 too as they were for P06:

    I have +70 on the cpu volts giving me 1.28v but im scared to put anymore through it as my temps hit 85oC now, accoring to realtemp.

    see my bios settings here, they are exactly the same for P09 too as they were for P06:

    I haven't installed P09 yet. Running G25 using Seanie'sShow's exact settings and stable as hell. My core is almost off the same batch. My temps never passed 75c and I live in Hot South Florida near Miami... I did use TX-3. Maybe that might help????
