Blackops: RAM stuck at 2T Command Rate.

Ok, so I got it up and running, My RAM is only running @ 1066Mhz because of the Pentium D with very low FSB and High Multiplier.

    I got 7-7-7-18 @ 1.801v

I got problem though, Why can't I set Command Rate to 1T, I set it in BIOS as 1T but CPU-Z and Memset keep showing 2T.

    White slots used BTW.

bios apparently, try one of the beta bios or p05, should sort it out.

What was the latest Beta Bios?

Suggestions on what bios to use, I'm on a RAID setup. I do some overclocking, and eventually will go Xfire.

I think that P07 is an upgraded bios of G30 beta Bios that had this issue. So the problem of 1T is only a Bug Bios....
Another dimostration that bios support fo Foxconn is a shame.

You know what Rogue, it's really strange because sometimes my memset shows 1t sometimes 2t and I never change anything in BIOS.

I've noticed with P05 that either RAM will run at 1T or the RAM will only run at 2T. I was running some OCZ 1600 EB Plats and they would only run stable using 2T. 1T was no go. Switched those out for some Mushkins and the Mushkins run quite nicely at 1T. The Mushkins run much easier than the OCZ Plats. I'm thinking that whether you can run 1T or 2T on this board, is dependent upon the IC's used in your RAM. The OCZ seem to tweak like Samsung RAM, they'll hit what they are rated for but hate volts. With this board, I really had to relax timings to hit 1600.

In comparison, the Mushkin can hit 1600 with rated timings. With a little bit of Vdimm, the RAM can be run with tighter timings, 6-6-6-18, TRFC=50, PL=6; where the OCZ hit 1600 at 8-8-8-24, TRFC=74, PL=7, regardless of voltage. I'll come back to this point again, this board's BIOS were tweaked for LN2 & GTR RAM for very high FSB overclocks with RAM on a divider. The P05 BIOS seems to be tweaked for lower Read bandwidth to improve stability. Running the board on air or water will lead to some compromises in regards to running RAM, especially when the IC's used are other than GTR/GTS.

That's what I'm thinking after running the P05 BIOS for a while. Saaya, Lord Trident, any thoughts?

    That sounds just about right.

I only set the 1st 4 timings 8-8-8-24 as it is rated. i set CR to Auto, and I guess it set it to 1T.
