I don't think they've gone under, Gabe did mention last week that they were planning or were in process of moving to a new location. Maybe someone forgot to pay the domain name bill?

it's not their site. someone put up one of those fake sites in it's place.

I don't have google cache or archive.org to show you what it once looked like as they blocked it from the robots.txt file.

Google search results says it is Swiftech's website - I'm guessing someone forgot to renew the domain/has to do with Gabe moving to the new location. I did find it odd that it's not swiftech.com/.net since that's the name of the company...new domain name perhaps?

swiftech.com has been there for a while, and has gabe's email address on it? What is their URL supposed to be? Cause swiftech.com is what i have always used! *very confused*

EDIT: Their URL is supposed to be swiftech.com (at least according to their packaging)...

It's the right address, but it's not the right site. It looks as though they forgot to pay the bill and their site was pulled and replaced by this one.

I am struggling to believe that... they have forums and everything, including posts from gabe. I cannot be looking at the same site as you (as impossible as that seems!)... and it has all the Swiftech info on it, including rad specifications etc I was looking at the other day.

    This is what I see.

EDIT: I just can't believe someone would squat but put all the original information back on the site! I guess its possible I am seeing a cached version (although no proxy here I am aware of), and caching should affect the forums anyway.

Probably the same lawyer that allowed their trademark to expire in Europe so Aquaturding could try and claim it.

@ascl, clear your cache, you should see what were seeing then.

Maybe they took the site down temporarily to finally fix that awful sidebar menu (I could never scroll down it to see the rest of the menu selections) .

Oh I see, domain is still theirs. Hmmm, very puzzling. Hacked maybe? LOL.

As far as I can tell, it's nothing to be worried about. The page seems to be a placeholder put up by the domain name registrar Network Solutions. There's no link offering to sell you the domain name. And if you click on the link at the very bottom, it explains that it's a placeholder "Under Construction" page until the owner puts up a real page.

Site maintenance/revamp sounds like a reasonable explanation. Compared to XSPC, HWlabs, and TFC, among others, Swifty's site isn't exactly super modern looking.

The site loads just fine for me here, ascl its not a cache your seeing, your seeing the proper site, its the dns nameservers that have changed and are pointing you to the correct site as our ISP's haven't updated their DNS servers yet(takes up to 48hours in some cases)

209.87.151.70 is the IP address is resolves for me(and you ascl) here

64.95.64.198 is the IP address everyone else is getting(is what my phone loads when I go to the site, so my mobile provider's DNS servers have been updated faster than my home ISP)

Core 2 Duo(Conroe) was based on the Intel Core Duo(Yonah) which was based on the Pentium M(Banias) which was based on the Pentium III(Coppermine).

Core 2 Duo is a Pentium III on meth.

I just noticed something: On th top right hand corner there's a small link reading "Why am I seeing this 'Under construction' page?" Looks like they might just be upgrading their site (finally!) or their server died.

So it's nothing to be worried about
