Do my 285gtx need more vcore to OC?

Hi everyone

I've just bought Gainward 285gtx.

I cant oc more than approximately 5 %, when using Gainward Expertool. It simpy lock up, or stop working. Temps are never above 80 c. My airflow is very efficient.

Should I provide more power for the gpu to get a stable oc?

Im thinking of editing the bios with nvflash.

Just overclock the shaders & core but dont touch the memory.
