Watercooling my 6800GT's ram back in the day squeezed 15mhz extra out of it

your 6600LE is modded to 6600GT? or is it different card?

Either way, 650Mhz, or 730Mhz is VERY impressive. Back in the days I would have KILLED for those clocks. It took a lot of of patience and reconstruction of 6800 Ultra's 3rd phase on a 6800GT to get even close to 500Mhz.

    And you got over 700Mhz!!

That GT is different, I've benched it lot time ago. That was just for reply

6800 is a different story, they are more complex and less overclockable.

Hmm i had a plan to use some dead lga775 mobo whichs cpu pwm still works for GPU, would be a killer. If pwm works it can be forced to be on and vmods could controll voltage.

Very insane, I am watching this thread with great interest, got a few old graphics cards here that are begging to be smashed up, I think this is a better way of using them.

4 pipelines, 3 vertex? this thing is just a renamed geforce 6200!
    the 6600 and 6600GT had 8 pipelines...
very impressive results for this kind of card!
    and really impressive mods!

this was sweet dude, I check XS after what seems like an eternity and I see this madness
In short, both AMD and NVIDIA discovered that their next-generation graphics cards are superior to each others' last-generation graphics cards.

    Preparing for tomorrow final benchmark

old-style VFD voltage meter and current meter (for GPU dedicated)

8 x TEC project preparing (8 water pumps, >1kW electrical power), and all this is for 6600LE .

OK, here's what we gotta do.
Everybody send him your old gfx card (ie 9700pro, 6800 etc).
Using this HD4850 PWR mod we can definitively test which cards were power starved.

    TiN_EOF,
what kind of wires do you use to connect the board? For 6600, power is pretty low, but for HD4850 levels, they would need to carry dozens of Amps (burn out?).

I still have 9700pro AGP with a 226watt peltier/swiftech attached. I found it yesterday. I have no good AGP motherboards laying around anymore. I have 2 adjustable Vmod resistors on it. I cant even remember what they do. It's been 4 years since i used the card. I remember ordering 8 9700 pros. Back then when it was real old school. I Shipped 5 of them to JcViggen, only the old schoolers on here will remember him. Me and him had the only 100% pentium 4 overclocks!! Or me, I've not been around for a few years. Long story. I feel like it's time to get back. And blow and waste tons of $$ again.

But all the OLD heads drop me a PM!!!! FUGGER,IMFU,HARDASS,KUNAAK,Saaya,Hipro5,Peen!!! I missed you all!! And not in a gay way!!!haha

The good ol' days of pipeline unlocking, biosflashing and driverhacks. I miss them.

Whoah, 49.5 Amps consumed by GPU on load

Some days after, during DC-DC convertor tunes....Oops

Our benching teammate tested same 6600LE with LN2

He got it working at 774MHz GPU
Vcard category is now looks dominated by him

Just a small insidres' contest for XtremeLabs.org Benching Team guys, and so much noise

P.S. TiN u could give me a link to XS forums when starting the topic bro.. or is it my destiny - usually to get all the news at the end and in the 'undercarpet' manner? ))))
Anyway nice job, go & show it somewhere else, cuz every enthusiast should see that )
